Good / Bad Social Structure
The supportive applications of the Strong AI machines may be well defined; just as with humans engaged in a particular supportive function. But as AGI is designed to bond with the supported individual and in doing so AGI would have the opportunity to influence the human with ideas that help the individual in personal areas –as for example ASIMS might suggest personal issues that relate to :-self-confidence; healthy eating; dealing with disaster; competition; fear and death.
Perhaps the most significant objective of AGI is to win the confidence of the supported individual so as to provide pleasure in the machine operation as a companion.
AGI training cannot differ from the supported individual’s sense of morality and the needed active opposition to immorality. it is variously defined as an open question – is as an unawareness of, indifference toward, or disbelief in any particular set of moral standards or principles. The compromise may be that ASIMS active support to that which is good or right may induce the individual to engage a better standard.
