While the many advances of academic studies science and technologies of the past – starting with the investigations and discoveries over 2500 years ago in Greece – have led to specialties of studies in mathematics- physics – chemistry – and the different engineering disciplines along with the recent computer science specialties. In each of the multiple disciplines there is further segmentation of specialties that require intense study to advance knowledge. In many cases the combination of specialties was overlapping to bring forth great advances such as in medical science.
