Needs for a “Moral Imperative”
The capability to operate autonomously in support of an individual requires the comprehension and need to advance the details of humanlike motivations. The individuals experienced desires and aversions involves the association of emotion that supports the progress in accomplishing the motivating issues. AGI would be able to understand the need to support individual’s desires by comprehending the values that the individuals find motivating. It would also facilitate this understanding if the AGI also understood the historical and emotional basis of the desires moral foundations and bring a closer association with the individual if ASIMS adapted its own motivation so that it parallels that of the individuals it supports.
