Sidney Kaplan – COB Asentience LLC Innovations and Accomplishments
Mr. Kaplan’s has advanced electrical engineering degrees from MIT and Columbia University. His background involves broad experience in R&D, product development, and the frontiers of multiple levels of electrical engineering and information processing applications. He has notable accomplishments in fields of communications systems, product and instrumentation development.
His early experience at MIT where he introduced semiconductor electronics he was invited to work with Dr. Walter Rosenblith who established the initial efforts of AI investigation at MIT. Dr. Rosenblatt later became provost at MIT and Mr. Kaplan was later personally congratulated for his work on rocket guidance byDr. Wherner VonBraun for his innovation that made the IRBM functional.
He has notable accomplishments in fields of communications systems, product and instrumentation development.
As an executive at Western Union he advanced data communication technology as the Director of Telex and Data Communication with a staff of 97 engineers. He subsequently was the principle primary founder of Timeplex Inc. which was sold in $275 million to Unisys.

Ted M. Kaplan, CEO & Chief Systems Engineer at RKF Engineering in which he was a principle founder in 2001. He has over 35 years of experience providing expertise in innovative information processing technology development in both satellite and terrestrial communication. Mr. Kaplan has for international customers provided system engineering, analysis and regulatory support. As the CEO of RKF Engineering Mr. Kaplan has guided the operations and business activities of over 60 engineers with advanced degrees in science and engineering.
